INFORMATION BEFORE DECISIONS

Important safety information.

General considerations for informed conversations with your own qualified health professional. This is not individualized medical advice or a complete medication guide.

What this website provides

Strand Aminos Telehealth is open and accepting new patients. Website content is general education; individual treatment decisions and prescriptions require evaluation by an appropriately licensed clinician.

Reading this website or contacting general support does not establish a clinician–patient relationship. For a medical emergency, call 911.

Prescription decisions are individual

Prescription medication should be considered only after evaluation by an appropriately licensed clinician. Not everyone is eligible, and availability depends on clinical judgment and state requirements. Results vary.

The benefits, contraindications, warnings, interactions, side effects, and monitoring requirements differ by medication. Ask your clinician for the current prescribing information and Medication Guide for any treatment you are considering. Never change your medication based on this site.

Understand compounded medications

Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved. FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness, or quality before they are marketed. A compounded medicine should not be represented as identical to, or interchangeable with, an FDA-approved branded medicine.

FDA advises that compounded drugs should only be used when a patient’s medical needs cannot be met by an FDA-approved drug. Discuss product-specific risks and alternatives with your treating clinician.

Discuss risks before treatment

Tell your treating clinician about relevant health conditions, allergies, medications, supplements, and pregnancy or breastfeeding considerations. Ask which symptoms or side effects require prompt care and who to contact.

This overview cannot list every risk for every medicine. Seek advice from your clinician or pharmacist about your specific treatment, and use official medication information.

Research products are not patient care

The separate Strand Aminos research storefront is not a source of patient treatments through this website. Research-use products are not offered here for human use. No research product should be treated as a prescribed medicine on the basis of this site.
